Women
Sizes for women's jeans differ greatly. There is plenty of research that supports brands sometimes flatter women so don't get emotion with the size of your jeans. We all have different body shapes and the key to finding the perfect fit often means hours or whole days of shopping.
Men
When men go jeans shopping trying to find the right size generally isn't an issue the way it is for women. Once guys know their size they need not even try on jeans. Sizes for men are generally similar across brands and men can be the same size for years.
